HISTORY
Samantha-Antoinette Smith started singing professionally 40 years ago and has enjoyed singing Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Motown & Pop music.
Being in The London Community Gospel Choir for 21 years. "I have so many fond, unforgettable memories and I worked with amazing artists, providing backup singing sometimes as part of a trio or as a backup choir.
SPECIAL MOMENT
During this time with LCGC, Samantha-Antoinette recalls being commended by The Late "Luther Vandross", where LCGC was backing him at The Royal Albert Hall for a live album recording called "An Evening Of Songs", during the rehearsal period, when the singers were asked to sing individually, on hearing Samantha's voice, "Vandross" said to one of his backing singers - “SHE HAS A GREAT TONE"!

I GOT ME A PLAN EP (BLUES ALBUM)
SAMANTHA ANTOINETTE ON PREVIOUSLY WORKING WITH THE BAND HIDDEN AGENDA:
SAMANTHA ANTOINETTE SAYS:
"I had met this band in April 2014. I saw them performing at Charlie Scott's Jazz Bar in Copenhagen.
I loved the music and the live setting was electric and such fun.
I was asked by the band leader to come up and sing with them. I joined them on stage, I sang "Stormy Monday" (video can be seen on the gallery page). Needless to say, the song went down very well.
Since 2015, I had been performing with Jazz Five, and seeing the response from the audiences and promoters, it became apparent that we wanted to do more shows together, incorporating soul and some New Orleans style music.
We formed the group SAMANTHA ANTOINETTE AND HIDDEN AGENDA - an extension arm of Jazz Five.
At our previous shows, we would get the crowd on their feet and I just loved watching them dancing and singing with us."

Our journey started in 2017, solidifying their shared love for the blues. Top blues guitarist - Kasper Aude Vegeberg and Soren Schack, alongside the other musicians set this fantastic, tantalising collaboration on fire! Sought after blues agents, book this band and they can be seen at festivals around Denmark, where they have played to sold out crowds in London and Switzerland too. Their electrifying energy and fusion onstage, totally encapsulates the audiences, bringing them together as they dance and sing, they become totally "bought in" and enchanted. Samantha Antoinette, vocally leaves no stone unturned, showcasing her raw soulful vocals. The entire band is a "tour de force"! Collectively, their signature sound and foundation leave you feeling empowered, uplifted and totally CHARGED!!
